➕ I remember wanting to give flowers to girls growing up; even women in my family. I was broke growing up, so I would pick flowers from neighbors yards 😂🤷🏽‍♂️. Sometimes I feel money is so irrelevant when it comes to love. That’s why in this piece my heart is colored blue “not filled in”. Cuz in a way, picking a rose and giving it to someone I love is like giving them my heart.

➕ This piece is both expression of my adandonment (doubt of worth and love from a parent) as well as the pursuit of happiness most experience. Everyone deserves happiness and to be fulfilled and to be loved. Keep picking them flowers and loving; someone will notice your pedals in a rose garden
